clovertrip.com uses no cookies, no tracking, no analytics and no advertising. Fonts, videos and images are delivered from our own server – your browser does not contact any third-party services when you visit this website.

This website runs on our own server, rented from netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany. The server is located in Nuremberg, Germany. netcup processes data on our behalf as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR). No data is transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA.

When you open a page, our web server records: the shortened IP address (the last part is set to zero before storage, so it cannot be traced back to you), date and time, the page or file requested, the referring page, the HTTP status, the amount of data transferred, and the browser and operating system reported by your browser.

Purpose: operating the website securely and detecting errors or attacks. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted automatically after 14 days.

We do not set cookies. When you close the information note at the bottom of the page, your browser remembers this in its local storage (key “ct-notice”), so that the note does not appear again. This entry is strictly necessary for the function you requested, stays in your browser and is never sent to us. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.

If you write to us, we process your email address, your name and the content of your message in order to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries relating to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the data once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

The buttons “Open live demo” and “Try the backoffice” open demonstration versions of our software on our own servers (api.reisen.hihdigital.com and plan.reisen.hihdigital.com). They contain sample data only and require no sign-in. The demos store their sample data and your settings (e.g. language) locally in your browser. Weather forecasts are retrieved by our server from Open-Meteo; no personal data of yours is passed on. Map tiles come from our own map server.

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Just write to legal@hih-digital.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our lead authority is the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28, Ireland (www.dataprotection.ie). You may also contact the authority in your country of residence.

For visitors from Switzerland, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) also applies. The rights described above apply accordingly. The competent Swiss authority is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), www.edoeb.admin.ch.
